8′ Wheelchair Accessible Ramp

Give performers who use wheelchairs easy access to the stage with Southern Aluminum’s Stage Ramp. Slide the aluminum ramp up to the edge of your stage deck; additional ramps might be needed to reach the height of your stage. The ramp is 2 inch thick, so the ADA Entry Piece (sold separately) is necessary to create a smooth transition from the floor to the ramp no bumping wheelchair tires on the end of the ramp. Both the ramp and entry piece have a black, non-skid powder-coat paint finish that matches your stage. Keep in mind that to meet ADA requirements, the slope of the ramp must increase no more than 1 inch in height per foot in length. For example, a 24 inch high stage would need an entry piece and three 8′ long ramps to meet ADA requirements.
