Disabled Veteran Govt and State Contract Preference ?

Sunday Jan 11, 2009

I am a service connected disabled looking to team up with a business owner to see if they want to take advantage of my state (Florida) and govt contracting preference to see if they want to obtain state and govt contracts. Where should I be looking and who should I be talking to?

Usually the state and/or federal government require that the business be owned by the veteran, at least 51% to be classified as veteran owned and entitled to the programs offered to veterans.

If you have a trade or service you think you may be able to provide to the state, register yourself as a business and use your local SBA office for guidence, and good luck.
