2.What is your disability, are there any disadvantages compared to an able bodied athlete?
3.What equipment do you use (brand if possible)?
4.What are the benefits of using your equipment?
5.What are the limitations of your equipment?
e.g reduced speed due to weight of product
6.Is your equipment difficult to transport , fit/hold?
7.What improvements would you make to your current equipment?
8.Do you have any other ideas regarding sports aids for disabled people ?
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions
Kind Regards

I am not an athlete but am disabled. I will start answering at question 2.
2. I was born with cerebral palsy. My main disadvantage is I tend to fall more then able bodied people and I stutter when I talk.
3. I use a walker, to help me walk. I looked at my walker, there is no brand name but there are 2 stickers stuck on the front. One says NOVA and the other says CRUISER DELUXE JR. Hope that is enough.
There is really nothing that can help my speech. I've been in speech therapy for a number of years, they say I've gotten as good as I'm going to get.
4. The benefits of using my walker is that I don't fall as much.
5. The only limitation with it is that it is hard to push in the snow and on rough ground.
6. My walker folds flat, so it fits in most car trunks, unless the trunk is supper small then would have to find some other way of transporting it. It weighs about 10 lbs, so it's not too heavy.
7. I would make it easier to push in the snow and on rough ground and put in some type of cup holder so I can carry some thing to drink with me. I would also make the breaks stronger.
