Does a employee have the right to use the only Handicap parking space at the office.She does have a disabled license plate, but there is only one space to park while we get our mail, pay rent etc. She is there from 9AM to 6PM and also has a reserved office manager space. We have to walk around several parked cars and sometimes there are no spaces.
Yes, she has every right to park there. But the office certainly isn't not very tenant friendly that she uses it all time.
I would park directly behind her - since you know she is working and won't be moving.
We have rights because we are human. We have the right to equal access and opportunity to everything people without disabilities have.
i play dominoes every week and when i get to the pub where i play the disabled parking spots have been parked in by none disabled people ( they are not display a blue badge ( i’m in the UK ).
what right have i got about this as the land lord say’s he can not do anything about it.
But can he? i mean he can go out and check to see who’s parked there and if they have no badge he can get them moved can’t he.
This happens most weeks what can i do about it is there any one i can wright to?

Far be it from me to advise you on the law in the UK. You guys all drive on the wrong side of the street; so, who knows what other wacky rules you have.
But the landlord probably doesn’t have the obligation to do anything about enforcement. You can bring it to the attention of the police (the constabulary?) yourself.
Ok, I understand the UK laws have rightly changed in favour for the disabled and we see wheelchair access everywhere.
Also I believe if a diabled person wants to use any facilitie and cannot due to the fact there is no access to it for his/her disabilitie he/she is entitled to sue.
BUT……..(you knew it was coming) you have to agree having to put wheelchair access at Heliports which supply a dedicated Taxi service as shuch to Offshore installations is insane?

It would be unfair for a wheelchair bound person to go offshore as they would get no further than the Helideck (due to stairs everywhere on a drilling rig, which if changed to a ramp would be at an angle of 45 Degrees)
A chopper would have to be adapted for them, (basically stripped down into a frieght chopper) and they would be the only passenger. They would be unable to evacuate in a ditch and would never Pass BOSIET Offshore survival training in the first place. So why the ramps to the Chopper on the beach.
I dunno the answer but I am currently working with some right rasberry ripples so if they want to come aboard then let them. The HUET training would be interesting to watch.
My sound system work only from one side.that is among right and left sound system only right speaker works.I tried to make it balance from sound option but this balancing option is disabled.how to solve this problem.
